The Portrait Room
Tucked away from the main pub, The Portrait Room is our private space for gathering around the table. It seats up to 35 guests, or 20 around one long table, making it just right for everything from long lunches and family celebrations to shoot parties and private dinners.
Private Dining
Good food is even better around a table of your own. From long lunches to birthday dinners and family get-togethers, The Portrait Room gives you the space to gather, eat well and stay as long as the occasion calls for. We’ll work with you on the menu and the details, leaving you to enjoy it.
Shoot Parties
After a day in the field, head back to The Gin Trap. Settle in by the fire for a well-earned drink before gathering around the table for good food and a few bottles of something worth opening. From shoot lunches and dinners to overnight stays, we can look after the whole party and make sure everyone is well fed, watered and rested for the next day.
Celebration Of Life
A comfortable, welcoming place to bring family and friends together to remember someone special. We’ll take care of the food, drinks and details with a light touch, giving you the time and space to be together.
Wedding Receptions
For couples looking for something a little less formal, The Gin Trap makes a characterful setting for an intimate wedding reception. Gather your favourite people for good food, plenty to drink and a celebration that feels like you – whether that’s around one long table or out in the garden.
And when the last glass has been raised, our rooms and cottages mean there’s no need for everyone to rush home.
